// santorini //

Santorini is one of the favorite holiday destination on earth. The gorgeous water and sky that is so blue that give you the feeling of soaking in right inside the water when you open the window and grab this view right in front of your eyes. That memory bring me back to this work. I am featuring the new house set by DaD Design for Shiny Shabby. Click here for TP to the Shiny Shabby event, it will be opened on July 20th.

// Decision … //

I am so used of making decision so quick and face the consequences alone. Living abroad away from the family when you are young teach you all this. I had been living overseas since I was 19, I hardly came back and live with parent actually. So a lot of things I had to decide alone in life. Until i got married i have my husband helping me on making some of the decision, i have been slowing down since then. my decision making getting small and no longer that important like what must i cook for today, is it time for hair cut etc. That is why I deliberately enjoy my freedom in SL on making decision. I make decision here lavishly, I have nothing to loose because at the end of the day we are all can log off and go hiatus for a while and come back when we want to. I love being totally independent here.

// Tropical Breeze //

On9 is back and I see some tropical elements in there which match perfectly with the latest release by Trompe Loeil. I picked those things up and created this scene, let’s tackle the credit …

// my little thrift shop … //

When I was a student in US I used to pick up or collect those stuffs that thrown out on the road by neighbor, it could be table, chair or even old TV :p And I love going around to find thrift shop especially when one season is finished. Buying some nice vintage coat that looks so cool or even shoes, bags, accessories etc. Those are good deal for a foreign student like me with small pay check earned bi-weekly on top of tips :p

// waterfront living //

I never get tired decorating house in Second Life, they are like my little dream houses that I wish to have or live in. I always love waterfront living, can you imagine sitting at the sofa facing the water right in front of you and let the wind slowly bring you to sleep?

// Turning Point! … //

I did a lot of thinking today about how am I going forward with my blogging, I enjoy blogging so much, making pictures, decorating and styling for fashion. However when the thing becomes too demanding, it kills all the joy I have. I don’t like to be pushed around just for the sake of numbers or popularity contest if you want to call it. I like to have my own pace and enjoy what I am doing. Unfortunately taking sponsors for blogging comes with all this requirement, some sponsors really concern about the number of views and favorites our of their bloggers’ posts, this really kills the whole thing of being creative.

// Trompe Loeil, keke, The Little Branch, BackBone, DIGS and DaD Design//

There are so much joy working on this set. My imagination went wild between the mood for sahara desert or some tropical hang out somewhere in Bali. There is no stopping when you actually having fun on what you are doing, what matter the most is the satisfaction of doing a job well-done, the rest after that is no longer priority. I remember one friend told me, each one of us who work on creative dimension in second life is actually brought forward an entertaining touch to our audience, as blogger we are hoping more than just that, we hope that our work can inspire other to actually do it or try it out themselves. We want our audience to experiment the same, that is why we share all the secret recipe on creating a scene and where to get it. Again and again, I keep telling myself, my job as blogger is to promote the brand, it is all about the brand, it is never about myself.

// floorplan/brocante, DIGS, Serenity Style, DaD Design, N21 and Lost&Found//

working on decor is the most tedious work for blogger but the most fun as well. I just love to see how an empty room turn to something else that is completely different. The joy of seeing colors combination, the details of the things around and imagining ourselves actually spending time here is the most fun of all. that is why sometimes it really breaks my heart to actually bring down a set after i am done with blogging them. we could be spending hours or days working on a set and some hours to list them on the blog and minutes to bring all down, delete them and out from our sight! but yeah, that is what i face everyday, that is why i love keeping these pictures on my blog and facebook, they are like memories for me and proof i had done this room, that room etc. so let’s see what i have here …. I am featuring couple new releases by DaD Design, DIGS, Serenity Style, Floorplan/brocante and fun stuffs from N21 or Lost&Found. Let’s dig out the list then ….
